Goetz leads Queen Bees
to win over Grand View
DES MOINES - St. Ambrose's Jennifer Goetz, a graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School, led the Queen Bees to a 65-51 win over Grand View College in a Midwest Classic Conference women's basketball game Saturday.
Goetz had a game-high 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. She finished 10-of-11 from the foul line.
The game was tied at halftime, but St. Ambrose outscored Grand View 36-22 in the second half.
The Queen Bees are 13-5 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Grand View falls to 9-9 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
