Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The Old Fort Players will present “Arsenic and Old Lace” at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Old Fort Playhouse in Fort Madison.

Thirteen actors will portray 14 characters, making it the largest cast at Old Fort Playhouse in years.

Old Fort Players is dedicating the production to the late Rick Brown, who was the play's original director. Brown, who was elected president of the theater group in July 2006, died last November.

Advance tickets costing $7 are available at Garner Oil, Catricia's Ben Franklin and Dodd Printing in Fort Madison as well as Rick's Auto Sales and Kalipsoe Costume Co. in Burlington.

Season tickets will be honored for “Arsenic and Old Lace.”

Sunday

The fourth annual Bridal Fair sponsored by the Daily Gate City and Big River Rental will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the River City Mall in Keokuk.

Wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos will be modeled during a fashion show from 2 to 3 p.m.

Twenty-six vendors have signed up to participate at the Bridal Fair. Besides dresses and tuxedos, the services include fine china, photography, cakes, travel, disc jockey services, limousine and catering. Food and cake samples will be available, and photographers will display their work.

A drawing will be held for a three-night cruise, too.

Sunday

The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County, Ill., will hold its second annual Film Festival at 2 p.m. at 425 S. 12th St., Quincy.

John Anderson and “The Lincoln Conspiracy” will be featured.
