Warsaw's annual RiverFest features food, games, music along the Mississippi

Warsaw will celebrate its third annual RiverFest on Saturday, June 23, at Riverfront Park along the bottoms. The day is filled with activities, food, drinks, games and music alongside the Mississippi River.
It is recommended to bring lawn chairs. No alcohol or coolers will be permitted on the premises.
A flea market and car show get under way at 9 a.m. Horse shoe tournaments begin at 10 a.m. The beer tent opens at 10 a.m. and will serve until 11 p.m.
A big crowd pleaser of the day, the cardboard boat regatta, will begin sign-ins at 10 a.m. and boat races start at 11 a.m. in the fish pond at Riverfront Park.
Food will be served beginning at 11 a.m. featuring a hog roast and fish fry with sides, drinks and desserts.
A dunk tank opens at 11 a.m.
A kids tractor pull is scheduled for 1 p.m. with sign-in beginning at noon.
The volleyball tournament also begins at 1 p.m.
Warsaw's own Jerad Harness will entertain with songs from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by the Beck Boys from 4:40 to 6:30 p.m. and the evening finale will feature the local band Staggard from 7 to 11 p.m.
The Warsaw Community Women's Club is sponsoring its second Duck Dash in the evening. Anyone can purchase a rubber duck for $5. A load of ducks will be dumped into the Mississippi and winners are determined by which ducks reach a certain point first. Cash prizes will be awarded. Each duck has a number on the bottom.
A raffle also is being conducted. Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5. Prizes are a Mossberg 835 turkey-deer shot gun and a 50/50 cash draw.
