This year's fair features a queen pageant, bull riding, demolition derby, concerts, carnival rides, daily horse shows, and food and drinks.

Ten thousand flip flops will be given away during Crazy Days in Keokuk with the theme “Get Your Flips on Route 136 ... and Highway 218.”
Shoppers can support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great River Area by casting a monetary vote for their favorite celebrity flip flop model.
To vote, shoppers must first discover in which business their favorite celebrity model is located.
The person who correctly matches flip flop feet to the correct host business will receive $50 in Keokuk Kash. Another $25 will be given to the person who correctly identifies the mystery model.
The Quincy Community Theatre presents the 1980s pop musical “Footloose” at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Oakley Lindsay Center in Quincy, Ill.
The Broadway show is based on the 1984 film that made a star out of Kevin Bacon. QCT's production includes more than 40 actors from around the area.
Individual tickets cost $17 for adults and children. Call the QCT at 217-222-3209 for more information.
Saturday
A lighted regatta will be held on the Mississippi River, starting at 8:30 p.m. at the Southside Boat Club in Keokuk.
Sign-up is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southside Boat Club.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place lighted entries.
After leaving the boat club, the regatta will turn upriver past Hubinger Landing, turn down river to parade past the Southside Boat Club and on south past the Purple Cow at Alexandria, Mo., cross the river and turn to go upriver at the Warsaw riverfront and Warsaw Brewery, cross the river again at Hubinger Landing and finally dock at the Southside Boat Club.
