Lindner playing tennis at Coe
CEDAR RAPIDS - Brooke Lindner of Keokuk is participating on the Coe College women's tennis team this fall.
Lindner has a 3-1 record in singles and a 1-0 record in doubles this season for the Kohawks. She defeated Nicole Hansen of Buena Vista University on Sept. 9 in a walk-over, and she swept Jessica Sexe of the University of Dubuque 6-0, 6-0.
Lindner played in Flight B of the 2007 IIAC Women's Tennis Championships Oct. 12-13 at Cedar Rapids. She scored a first round win over Katie Williamson of Central College 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7), but dropped her second round match to Kristin Willard of Cornell College 6-2, 6-2.
Lindner teamed with Natalie Bordignon to defeat Lindsay Bonnell and Rachel Sarafin of University of Dubuque 8-3 in Flight B Doubles at the IIAC Women's Tennis Championships.
Lindner, a graduate of Keokuk High School, is the daughter of Roger and Janice Lindner.
