On Sunday, Dec. 9, the high school chorus will perform in the Safford Auditorium at 2 p.m., followed by the junior high and high school bands at 3 p.m. in the high school gym. In conjunction with the concerts on Dec. 9, the Music Boosters will be selling snacks and holding a silent auction.

Students from the Hamilton High School Music Department will present “The Sound of Music” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Safford Auditorium.
Tickets are $6 and may be purchased from any cast member, the high school office or at the door. A dollar for each ticket will be donated to the Safford Auditorium restoration project.
Persons who wish to be a patron of the musical, may send their name and address, plus a $25 check made out to Hamilton Music Boosters, to Mike Saul, Hamilton High School, 1100 Keokuk St., Hamilton, IL 62341, by Dec. 7. Persons will receive two tickets to the performance and their name will be printed on the patrons' page of the program.
The band and chorus are planning a mini-trip this spring or summer. The Boosters are looking into performance opportunities in the St. Louis and Chicago areas.
Fund-raisers are being planned to help the students raise money to offset the expenses of the trip. Students will soon be selling “Worlds' Finest” candy bars, of several varieties. The candy sells for $1 per bar and includes a Pizza Hut coupon. Contact any Hamilton High School band or chorus member to make your purchase.
