Fifth annual Hamilton Disc Golf League starts today

HAMILTON, Ill. - The Hamilton Disc Golf League begins today at Gordon's Grove (formerly Hamilton City Park) on the corner of Ninth and Keokuk streets.

Sign-up is from 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the shelter house located by hole No. 1. Tee-off begins at 6:30 p.m.

Divisions include 10-and-under, ages 10-13, ages 14-17 and 18-and-over in amateur, novice and advanced categories.

Entry fee is $15. Prizes and trophies are awarded at the end of the league. Each participant will receive a new disc after completing the six-week session.

Beginners are welcome. Snacks and beverages are available.
