Seeing the Keokuk Municipal Swimming Pool in its present state is like visiting a friend in the hospital. On the surface the face is the same, but the real problem is hidden. Age is the reason. By pool standards, the one at Keokuk is a grandfather, and the needed repairs rate somewhere in the major surgery category. “It's beyond using Band-aids,” said Manager Wes Pohorsky. “It's leaking 10,000 gallons a day.”
