Lee County Health Department offers tetanus boosters Thursday

FORT MADISON - The Lee County Health Department will sponsor a clinic from noon to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at its offices, 2218 Ave. H, Fort Madison, to provide tetanus boosters to flood affected individuals.
Due to limited resources, persons should meet the following criteria to receive a free vaccine at this clinic:
Have been in direct contact with flood waters, flood containment or flood clean-up.
Have sustained an injury or have an open wound.
Have not had a tetanus booster in the past five years.
Persons may call the health department at 319-372-5225 or 800-458-6672 for further information.
