Lady Hawks rout Harmony
FARMINGTON - The Central Lee Lady Hawks only needed three innings to defeat the Harmony Lady Rockets 15-1 in a SEI Superconference South Division softball game Tuesday.
Central Lee scored eight runs in the second inning and six runs in the third inning to earn the win.
Olivia Krehbiel was 3-for-3 with three runs batted in, and Tiffany Barton went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead Central Lee. The Lady Hawks finished with 17 hits in the game.
Kelsi Hake was 2-for-3 with three runs batted in. Shawna Wilson was 2-for-3 with two runs batted in. Kelly Riddle was 2-for-2. Olivia Rairden had a single and a run batted in. Whitney Speer had a double, and Sasha Russ, Paige Weber and Bailie Bryant each finished with a single.
Wilson improved to 5-8 on the season with the win. She allowed one run on one hit and finished with two walks and two strike outs.
Central Lee, 6-14 overall and 5-7 in the division, hosts Fort Madison Thursday.
