Main Street Keokuk hosts musical performances Sunday

Main Street Keokuk, Inc. will host two musical performances by the Nauvoo Pageant core cast at 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday at the historic Grand Theatre in downtown Keokuk.
There is no admission charge. Free will donations will be accepted to benefit downtown revitalization projects through Main Street Keokuk Inc.
This is the second year these performers have agreed to entertain at the Grand Theatre.
The performance will feature professionals showcasing their talent through popular show tunes and other American classics.
“Our Story Goes On” will take the audience on a journey from birth to the end of mortal life.
The music is woven into a touching tale of the treasured moments in life. The family-oriented performance is appropriate for young and mature audiences.
“The talent in this performance is amazing,” said Barb Smidt, president of Main Street Keokuk Inc. “They have performed in many venues including Broadway, film, television and recording studios, and we are fortunate to have them in Keokuk.
“Our partnership worked well last year, and we're hoping for similar results this year. I encourage everyone to attend and enjoy this amazing talent.”
