SportsSohl records golf aceHAMILTON, Ill. - Herb Sohl of Marble Falls, Texas, and formerly of Keokuk shot a hole-in-one on the 18th hole at Deer Run Golf Course in Hamilton July 15.
Using an eight iron, Sohl sank the ball on the 134-yard, par three hole. Roy Sapp of Keokuk, Ed Walckner of Hamilton and Don Atherton witnessed the event. It was Sohl's first hole-in-one. Copyright © 2010 - Daily Gate City
