LeMaire named head coach at Fort Hays State

HAYS, Kan. - Julie LeMaire, a 2000 graduate of Warsaw High School, has been named the new head softball coach at Fort Hays State University, an NCAA Division II program in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
LeMaire is the sixth coach in the program's history since it restarted in 1999. She replaces Tonja Hadley.
LeMaire served as an assistant coach at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., for two years. She was also a graduate assistant at the University of North Dakota for two years.
LeMaire played collegiate softball at Quincy University, an NCAA Division II program. She was named the team's Most Valuable Offensuve Player as a senior in 2004. She set the single season school record for home runs. As a pitcher, LeMaire won 29 games during her career.
