Another man helped by the Victorious Living program is Mark Robinson.
He wanted to share his story.
Robinson, 51, was born and raised in Keokuk. He said he began in his teen years to get into trouble.
He started attending the weekly Victorious Living Program in September 2007 when the program started in Keokuk.
“Before attending, my life had several challenges. I was in various degrees of unhealthy living,” he said. “I was depressed and anxious. I had low self-esteem. My life had no direction or focus.
“After attending the program and along with the help of a now very close, dear friend, Gerome Crayton, my life has gone from that to a life of expectancy; soaring higher and higher with a bright future in sight.
“I'm no longer in defeat. I'm living with victory each and every day,” said Robinson. “I give thanks to God and the Victorious Living Program for the tools I've learned to use.
“The impact and change has made my life worth living and rewarding.”

6) he/she nows spreads the good word to help others.
These stories follow a plot which has varied little for several hundred years. Interestingly, they seem to have become popular around the time protestantism grabbed ahold of european thought. Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus is an example of such a salvation story but until protestantism became popular, his story was just another story in the New Testament. "
