Titans, Chargers tie for second
HAMILTON, Ill. - The West Hancock Titans tied for second in the golf triangular held at Deer Run Golf Course Tuesday.
Macomb won the meet with a 182. West Hancock and Illini West each finished with a 190.
Mac Schlicher took medalist honors for the Titans. He finished with a three-over par 39.
Jordan Dewald added a 44 for West Hancock. Tyler Thill shot a 52. Ryan Runge and Jacob Thompson each shot a 55, and Joel Thompson finished with a 58.
Dade McKee led Illini West with a 42. Nate Trout added a 48. Evan McGaughey carded a 49, and Ross Smith finished with a 51.
Tyler Thorman shot a 40 to lead Macomb. Eric Mutch added a 46. Brodie Dekin had a 47, and Matt Sullivan finished with a 49.
West Hancock will play at Burlington Thursday. The Titans will host the Red Rogers Memorial Golf Tournament at 8 a.m. Saturday at Deer Run Golf Course.
