World War II Landing Ship Tank 325 open for tours - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Sunday, docked upriver from the Catfish Bend riverboat in Fort Madison. Tours are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 17 or $20 for a family ticket.

American Red Cross blood drive - Noon to 6 p.m., United Methodist Church, 1610 Ripley, Nauvoo, Ill.

Fort Madison Mexican Fiesta begins - 4 p.m., food vendors and beer garden opens, 3400 block of Avenue Q, Fort Madison. 6 to 9 p.m., wristband night with unlimited carnival rides.

Keokuk City Council special meeting - 4:30 p.m., city council chambers, City Hall, Keokuk. City council workshop to follow.

Keokuk Code Revision Subcommittee meeting - 530 p.m., City Hall, Keokuk.


Gamblers Anonymous meeting - 5:30 p.m., ADDS facility, 1340 Mount Pleasant St., Burlington. This program is for people experiencing difficulty with any form of gambling and is based on the 12 step-road to recovery. For more information call Michelle at 319-753-6567.
