The 23rd annual Clark County Mule Festival will be held at the Clark County Fairgounds just outside of Kahoka, Mo.
In addition to the mule and craft show, the festival also includes flea markets, tack vendors, food, trail riding on Saturday and Sunday mornings, a coloring contest, camping and church services.
Main gate admission is free, but a $2 commemorative button is sold to help cover expenses. The $2 button also is required for admission to the Saturday night rodeo.

Donnellson Apple Daze features a variety of activities during its two-day run in Donnellson.

The Burlington Regional Air Show returns to Burlington after a one-year hiatus.
The event starts at 6:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.
Up to 40 planes, many privately owned, are expected to be present.
The smoking aerobatic flight of the Aerostars is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Sunday
A tour of porches at five homes will be conducted from 4 to 7 p.m. during the 2008 Porches of Mount Pleasant Tour.
This year's tour will include the homes of Andrew and Barb Grimmer at 707 N. Main St., Mike and Deb Morrissey at 111 W. Broad St., Jeremy and Sheila Pohren at 1301 E. Monroe St., Wayne and Mary Lou Rodgers at 706 N. Broadway, and the Harlan-Lincoln House at 101 W. Broad St.
Light refreshments and musical entertainment will be included in the tour.
Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 on the day of the tour. Advance tickets are available at Brown's Shoe Fit, Jerry's Restaurant and Peebles, all in Mount Pleasant. Tickets can be purchased at any of the homes on the day of the tour.
