HAMILTON, Ill. - Central won the West Central Conference Boys Golf Meet Thursday at Deer Run Golf Course.
The Panthers shot a 344 to edge Illini West and Pittsfield for the team title. The Chargers and the Saukees tied for second with a 347.
Beardstown's Cody White earned medalist honors with a five-over-par 77. Illini West's Connor Rothert finished second one shot behind.
West Hancock's Jordan Dewald earned all-conference honors with a third-place finish. Dewald finished three strokes behind White.
Also earning all-conference honors were: Alex Walter, Central, 82; Brian Bristow, Pittsfield, 82; Corey Roseberry, Pittsfield, 82; Tyler Barr, Rushville-Industry, 83; Josiah Moore, Central, 84; Jared Rohn, Beardstown, 84; and Evan McGaughey, Illini West, 84.
West Hancock plays in the Pittsfield Invitational Saturday.
