On the Hamilton page (9) of the Tuesday, April 9 edition, under Buildings and Grounds, it stated that a salary for an hourly worker was being raised from $8 to $10 per hour. It should have stated that the appropriation amount for janitor salary was raising from $8,500 to $10,000 for the fiscal year.

How should Keokuk choose their city council members?
Option 1: All city council members are at-large positions (without ward residency requirements). This means city council members can be elected from anywhere by anyone as long as they are within city limits. Option 2: Each city council member comes from a different ward (equal population partition of the city), but the election is at large (anyone from any ward can vote for the council member). Option 3: Each city council member comes from a different ward (equal population partition of the city) voted in by people who live in that ward. There are no at-large positions. Option 4: A specified number of city council members come from different wards voted in by their ward members, and a specified number of at-large council members (citizens elected by citizens regardless of ward residency).
