HAMILTON, Ill. — The West Hancock Titans stayed undefeated with a 61-47 win over Western in a boys basketball game Friday.

West Hancock led 30-21 at halftime. Western got to within 39-35 at the end of the third quarter, but the Titans outscored the Wildcats 20-12 in the fourth quarter.

Drake Hammel scored 30 points to lead West Hancock. Lucas Dorethy and Caleb Sinele each had 10 points. Drew Martens chipped in six points, and Peyton Dooley finished with five points.

Preston Wellman had 20 points to pace Western, 7-4 overall.

West Hancock, 8-0, hosts Central Tuesday at Hamilton.
