Girls Who Code will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Keokuk Public Library. The program is for girls age 3-12 to learn about STEM topics and code using Scratch. Call the library to register. First time attendees will need a parent or guardian to set up an account at https://girlswhocode.com.

Mother’s Day gift craft will take place at 6 p.m. at the Keokuk Public Library. Presented by the Art Center and the Library, children will make an origami fabric necklace and gift box with the help of an adult. Sign up in pairs, one adult and one child. Friday

The Great River Players present Four Weddings and an Elvis at 7:30 p.m. at 17 S. Sixth St. in Keokuk. The play follows the adventures of Sandy, an often divorced owner of a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for students.

Jerad Harness & Nathan Gosnell will perform starting at 9 p.m. at the Cellar, 29 S. Second St. in Keokuk.

Saturday

The Dungeons & Dragons group will meet at 11 a.m. at the Keokuk Public Library. Learn how to play the world’s most popular table-top role-playing game. Open to ages 12 and up.

A photo tour with Leroy Wolfmeyer, will take place at 11 a.m. at the Keokuk Public Library. Join Leroy on a photo tour of the highlights of national parks around the U.S.

A men’s car show and barbecue contest will be held at Evangelical Free Church, 2315 S. Seventh St. in Keokuk from 4-7 p.m. See all styles of cars and sample some barbecue.

Music trivia fundraiser for the historical society will take place at 7 p.m. at the Southside Boat Club. Cost is $120 for a table with a team of 8. Stop by the club or call 319-524-7122 to register a team.

Ghost of Judas will perform at 9 p.m. at the Cellar, 29 S. Second St. in Keokuk.

DJ D will play music at L-Treyns bar, 1108 Main St. in Keokuk, at 10 p.m.

Sunday

The 14th Annual Warsaw Fire Department Breakfast will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Warsaw Fire Department, 220 S. Fifth St. in Warsaw, Illinois. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for those under age 10. Funds raised go towards rescue equipment.

The Little Chiefs PTO will host the Bubble Run at 1 p.m. at Rand Park. There will be yard games, a raffle and more. In case of rain, the event will be at Hawthorne Elementary.

Mommy/son challenges will take place from 1-3 p.m. at the Hoerner Ymca, 2126 Plank Road in Keokuk. Register to reserve a spot. The event offers a chance for mothers to get out and get moving with their sons.
