WEST POINT – Andrew A. Fraise, 85, of West Point passed away at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Palliative Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
He was born April 26, 1929, the son of Theodore and Viola Grelk Fraise.
Survivors include his wife, Faye of 64 years; and four children, including locally, Patricia Fraise and Danny (Cheryl) Fraise, both of West Point.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. that evening at the funeral home. A parish rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a Christian wake service will be at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in West Point, with the Rev. Dennis Hoffman as celebrant.
Burial with full military honors by West Point Holtz-Geers American Legion Post No. 668 will be in Calvary Cemetery in West Point.
